Incident Response Analyst (System Reliability)- Not Cyber Security role
Summary
Are you interested in working with cloud technology? You will work within a diverse and inclusive group who is responsible for proactively monitoring and improving various applications and systems. This role is in a team that sits inside the Big Fish Central Tech Department which is comprised of IT and Engineering teams that support the company and games studios and will allow you to make improvements and innovate as you learn new technologies.
Responsibilities

• Monitor technical operations and actively participate in all incident response activities (eg Nagios, New Relic, Grafana, Kibana, and Atlassian tools)
• Be engaged, solution oriented, and proactive working within IT resolving and supporting service issues
• Manage various communication streams including stakeholder communications (eg slack, outlook, zoom)
• Follow runbooks to solve issues quickly
• Maintain and continuously update relevant runbooks for faster response
• Navigate through tools, systems, and applications to recognize, resolve, and report issues or anomalies
• Coordinate and share information or findings with IT daily
• Own & facilitate postmortem initiatives actively working with the org to improve quality
• Escalate unresolved incidents and act as a member of the incident management lifecycle
• Learn new systems and applications and demo to team as technology evolves
• Build and establish relationships with internal teams
• Shift work; 10hours (morning, evening, night)

You will need to have

• Work experience with large-scale, distributed systems
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Broad knowledge of industry standard software tools, techniques, and practices
• Previous experience working with public clouds or on-premises solutions
• A positive attitude with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of the organization
