ABOUT THE TEAM:
FIS is looking for an Implementation Conversion Analyst to join our Orlando (Maitland) implementations team. This individual will work closely with customers to understand their business requirements, setup the software product to meet their qualifications, and move accounts from one software to another. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous banking experience to contribute new ideas in a team environment and build their career.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
This individual will be converting various applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with the customer, analyzing information, and working to determine the most accurate way to move the information. This individual works closely with other business analysts and team members to understand and communicate the necessary requirements to meet the customer's needs.

  • Through data analysis, mapping sessions and interviews, gathers forms and data files from customer and assesses requirements for software utilization and identifies gaps if present.
  • Creates data specifications and transaction workflow documents working with large and small banks migrating from their current item processing methodologies to any number of FIS solutions offered.
  • Works with the client to set up and modify ImageCentre settings, wherever possible, but will work mostly with providing specifications from customers to technical analysts.
  • Tests updated software, shares reports and application-specific data that reflects how conversion data will be processed. Reviews conversion results (reports, balancing, software changes) with client to refine and confirm requirements. Obtains formal customer acceptance of results.
  • Throughout the project, provides system expertise to answer questions and guide the client in the use of the system.
  • Acts as an on-site resource during conversion to answer questions, troubleshoot problems as they occur, conduct last minute training if necessary and provide support during conversion week. Coordinates and directs the completion of post-conversion maintenance, facilitate issue resolution, system or data changes, and balancing adjustments.

The ideal candidate:

  • Is self-driven to meet schedules and project timelines
  • Is technically inclined and comfortable working with programmers and others to troubleshoot issues
  • Has strong organizational skills
  • Can understand, apply and explain banking concepts
  • Is able and willing to handle multiple projects in a high-volume department
  • Works effectively both independently and in a team environment
