About the team
FIS is looking for an Implementation-Conversion Analyst I in Orlando, FL. The Online Banking Project Manager Implementations Team is responsible for all aspects of assigned non-technical projects. Projects for our team are focused on implementations and conversions for our Online Banking/Digital One Flex product, along with deconversions for Online Banking/Digital One Flex client. Typically involves extensive interactions with cross-functional teams of various functional areas of the business.
With the recent release of Digital One Flex, FIS Online Banking (OLB) clients will be upgraded toDigital One Flex. Digital One Flex is our strategic solution that provides an enhanced user experience as well as platform improvements designed to meet client needs today and build for the ever-changing digital marketplace for both retail and small business customers.
What you will be doing

  • Responsible for implementing add-on features for existing online banking clients.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of non-technical projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Manage project initiation activities that include identifying contractual obligations, client or business needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed.
  • Identify needed resources for projects.
  • Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments, and client, as needed, to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
  • Manage project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., deadline, scope, and quality) are achieved. Assist with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.
  • Conduct project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams, and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement.
  • Identify project management coordination gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.


What you bring:

  • Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, including online banking.
  • Skilled in the use of project management software to manage projects.
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of clients.


Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience with working at a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of the industry project management best practices (i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge - PMBOK)
