Implementation Analyst

Overview of Position

The Implementation Analyst will provide post-sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation, and maintenance of company products. Implementation Analyst will be involved in implementing detailed customer installation specifications and requirements. Implementation Analysts will drive quality, usage, and customer satisfaction.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Setting-up and configuring Revenue Cycle solutions product for Physicians and Hospitals
  • Managing internet communication protocols for VPN and Web Service connections
  • Utilize proprietary applications, tools, and processes to implement and deploy Revenue Cycle solutions
  • Responsible for data mapping, setting up & configuring data processing rules and testing customer site configuration during implementation
  • Setting up product access and permissions for customer user groups
  • Understand customers business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Follow pre-established instructions, procedures, and guidelines to successfully migrate Revenue Cycle solutions from legacy system to new system
  • Responsible for set-up of customer data feeds related to Claims (837, Print Image, others) and Remittance (835) transactions
  • Responsible to complete, troubleshoot and test proprietary scripts to aid in processing
  • Engage key stakeholders and subject matter experts throughout the project lifecycle for planning and issue resolution
  • Identifies and proposes resolutions for systems issues or changes that impede timely and accurate Revenue Cycle services
  • Maintain checklists, issues tracking and other administrative needs
  • Coordinate with customer IT personal to set-up and configure product modules
  • Responsible for product testing and resolution of product configuration issues during Implementations
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues encountered by customers
  • Responsible to manage tasks within IT infrastructure and platform for transaction processing
  • Effectively respond to changing product, project and customer demands while balancing multiple ongoing projects
  • Coordinate with product development team in identifying and resolving product bugs delaying implementations
  • Participate in customer meetings which could be on-site or remote (travel may be required)
  • Assist other teams and team members when needed


What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 7+ years of experience in software support or product implementation


What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to assist in facilitating projects.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize the implementation needs of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office & Windows OS and installing, uninstalling, and troubleshooting software
  • Strong understanding of Healthcare Transactions, data elements, and troubleshooting including 837, 835, 270, 271, 278, HL7 and others


What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Basic SQL knowledge or understanding of databases, preferred
  • Experience with hospital information systems and/or building screen-scraping solutions, desired (Epic preferred)
  • RCM, Healthcare insurance or Hospital Information Systems knowledge or experience, preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance payer edits/requirements a plus
  • Business analyst experience a plus (may assist in department reporting)

  • Some rare travel may be required
