How Is This Role Important to Our Work?

This position is integral to the ongoing operation and continued enhancement of the data engine driving the identity access management services to our entire enterprise. This position will be responsible for ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) design, development, and support for Identity Data Repositories. Identity process operation, optimization and automation with an emphasis on efficiency, effectiveness, integration, compliance and quality round out the position.

A Day in the Life:

  • Design, develop, configure, test, and debug data integrations.
  • Design and lead complex reporting solutions using standard enterprise reporting tools (SSRS) as well as other custom tools as needed. Assists co-workers in using data and enterprise technologies to support corporate policies, processes and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams in process and project execution and schedules, status reporting, and issue/risk management alignment.
  • Work with internal business and technology resources as well external resources (e.g., customers) to understand and document requirements, proposed data solutions and designs.
  • Support projects and run the business activities by delivering defined scope for new and existing assets while following development standards for design, coding, migration and scheduling as well as corporate and legal compliancy guidelines.
  • Serves as a representative and liaison to the rest of the organization providing consistency of contact, positive representation of Information Security, and confirmation that solutions are (a) regarded as standards of good practices in the industry and (b) aligned with corporate and IT strategy and follows standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees and executes the day-to-day operations of the processes within scope which may include participation in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
  • Shares knowledge by creating and maintaining detailed, comprehensive documentation and diagrams.
  • Facilitates successful audit and assessments by providing evidence.



Nice to Have:

  • Solid understanding of PowerShell, LDAP, Visual Basic, or other scripting languages
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS or other technical degree.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data design, and data modeling
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • CISSP or other related certifications



Required Skills and Experiences:

  • 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server and associated products: SSMS, SSRS, and SSIS
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills used to design, evaluate, and interpret data sets using SQL.
  • Ability to create and maintain SQL Stored Procedures to consume data of multiple formats
  • Ability to develop and maintain SSIS packages
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications with sophisticated knowledge of Excel and/or Access.
  • Good communication and presentation skills for individuals at all levels of knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of standards for data integration development practice and support.
  • Track record of acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable.
