About the role:

Limeade is the leader in creating immersive employee well-being and employee experience solutions for its customers, and our approach starts at home. We care deeply about the employee experience for LimeMates (“EX Inside”) and as part of our strategy, we are taking a thoughtful and measured approach to making Limeade remote-first. We’re seeking a Head of Remote to lead this strategy and partner with cross-functional team to improve our organizational effectivenessLimeade’s Head of Remote will be a strategic thinker who understands distributed and virtual teams, an outstanding relationship builder, and a change agent. Our ideal candidate is an operator who can collaboratively build on and evolve the way we get work done at Limeade with a passion and proven acumen for experience design, process excellence, program management and change management. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead a highly cross-functional team responsible for helping Limeade transition to remote-first environment.  
  • Drive a company-wide shift toward remote-first ways of working  
  • Coach and educate HRBPs, managers, and organizational leaders as they scale and support remote work  
  • Evaluate current internal communications and collaboration processes and identify gaps 
  • Establish an operating manual for how we get work done at Limeade  
  • Experiment with, define a roadmap for and execute events, tools and programs that improve the operational effectiveness, collaboration and productivity of Limeade’s global workforce  
  • Proactively engage leaders and employees across the organization to address questions, issues and strategic/implementation needs 
  • Develop reporting, insights and decision making to inform our remote workforce program 
  • Partner with senior leadership to determine Limeade’s long-term, global remote workforce strategy and approach to flexibility 
  • Partner with the People team to develop and monitor a global value proposition including standards, culture, pay and benefits for our diverse remote workforce's needs consistent with Limeade’s values and develop a proactive communications plan to support it 


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' corporate experience in leading teams, remote workforce, business or people operations 
  • Demonstrated results building and sustaining complex cross-functional relationships 
  • Experience with strategy development, program design/management, and change management 
  • Experience thinking creatively and prototyping new ideas with an agile mindset  
  • Deep empathy and an ability to relate to challenges from team members across the globe  
  • A default to servant leadership, capable of triaging and defining solutions from inbound feedback 
  • Propensity to form and foster interdepartmental relationships and influence without authority  
  • A sound advisor to leaders, guiding decisions through a global and inclusive lens 
  • Appreciation for self-learning and self-service 
  • Appreciation for documentation and knowledge taxonomy 
  • Proven ability to work asynchronously and coach others to do so 
  • Experience operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
