Head of People Analytics and Listening
We are looking for an innovative and visionary leader as Head of People Analytics and Listening to design and lead the people analytics and listening strategy aligned with MassMutual priorities. We have built a solid foundation of People Analytics capabilities and this role will be leading our journey to move from Insights to action, establish and further mature our data management capabilities across the pillars of insights ,analytics, listening tools, market intelligence, benchmarks, as well as support our listening strategies to collect, understand and act on employee feedback.
The role requires building relationships with a wide variety of HR and cross-functional partners and will lead a team. The partners include stakeholders such as the HR Leadership team, functions across HR including HR Business Partners DEI, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Total Rewards, People Services and Employee Relations.
Responsibilities:
Build and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Enterprise People Analytics & Listening function
Lead the people analytics tools and technology strategy leveraging industry best practices and technology trends.
Building advanced analytics, automation of reporting and dashboards , visualization and storytelling capabilities
Lead the People Analytics team talent and resourcing strategy, identifying and assessing ongoing needs, developing talent and building capabilities in line with the HR strategies, evolving business needs and organizational maturity.
Generate insights and analysis to share on “Moments That Matter” across talent life cycle with HR and Leadership, influencing strategies and drive critical people decisions.
Build and implement a holistic employee listening framework, strategy and practices.
Identify ongoing market trends, best practices and benchmarks to keep listening strategies current and relevant
Designing relevant measurement strategies to developing and administering surveys
Program manage surveys and oversee administration for survey platforms/vendors including configuration, security, end user training and support
Apply statistical methods, NLP and sentiment analysis to correlate employee engagement with other signals like retention, productivity and overall experience metrics
Integrate survey data with other organizational datasets and excel at meaning-making and synthesizing data and information into coherent storytelling, recommendations and influence
Continuously assess demand and capacity and prioritize to balance customer needs with resource availability.
Develop and lead the enablement strategy to drive adoption of the self-service analytics tools and building organizational capabilities in driving data-based decisions.
Ensure compliance with all company and other applicable data security and privacy requirements.
Establishes KPIs to measure the success of the team and the impact of people analytics on business outcomes.
Requirements:
12+ years of relevant professional experience.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Analytics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
7+ years' experience successfully leading teams who manage multiple priorities & deliver projects through on-time, on-budget, and with quality.
Ability to develop effective business relationships within all levels of the company
Expert knowledge and experience using HR data and analytics using qualitative and quantitative metrics to provide a holistic view and solutions
Comfortable with presenting, storytelling using data and influencing at the senior leadership level
Working knowledge of technology systems and the IT ecosystem to partner with IT on the technical strategy and help the team in overcoming roadblocks
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Superb communication, collaboration, team dynamics, and conflict resolution
Good understanding of the Agile principles and methodologies and how they're applied in workplace culture
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
