Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience working in an analytical sales role.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, marketing analytics, financial modeling, or statistical analysis.
  • Experience in managing and building teams.



Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in data analytics.
  • Experience using and/or deploying digital analytics and measurement solutions.
  • Experience in media planning and advertising effectiveness research.

The Head of Measurement and Analytics, Media and Entertainment manages a team of Analytical Leads (ALs) who work with Media and Entertainment companies to help them grow their business with Google advertising solutions. ALs are responsible for driving customer business objective and growth for the industry by improving client measurement and attribution, delivering high impact insights, and uncovering media opportunities to grow client business outcomes. In this role, you will serve as their measurement and analytics expert, lead the measurement and analytics strategy, and participate on the leadership teams.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the measurement and analytics strategy, drive adoption of Google measurement and attribution solutions, and increase the measurement maturity.
  • Lead regular discussions with business leadership to understand business challenges, identify patterns and trends across the industry, and evolve strategy/approach accordingly.
  • Identify growth opportunities from analysis for the client and for Google using campaign/market data.
  • Identify scaled ways to solve common client business needs, and share best practices/client successes across the industry/sector.
  • Build and sustain an effective, high-performing team, mentor ALs on skills and capabilities to be effective in the role and deliver high-impact, growth-driven work.
