Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in the Media industry (e.g., broadcast, cable, over-the-top (OTT))
  • 5 years of business development experience



Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree
  • Experience with online advertising ecosystem (i.e., ad serving, ad exchanges, ad networks) and of key platforms and trends (i.e., CTV, mobile, video)
  • Experience with business growth management and analytics, business development, business planning, operations management, and strategic planning
  • Experience with leading high performance sales teams to deliver results consistently exceeding goals
  • Experience with Linear, TV Everywhere, or OTT technology
  • Ability to establish and recognize executive relationships in the digital and TV distribution marketplace

The Media and Entertainment (ME&T) strategy: Enable the ME&T ecosystem of partners to drive more business growth and yield by executing against our strategy of driving adoption of Google's full stack promote side technology and layering our technology into our partners' ad environments.

As the Head of Analytics and Revenue, you will develop and coach a high-performing partner specialist team that uses consultative business development skills to understand partner needs and deliver measurable results. You will also work with the rest of the leadership team to set the ads product strategy that will drive the day-to-day operations of the business.

Our team provides meaningful solutions - from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the full scope of partner business generation and ad serving, how business generation fits into larger business strategy, and partners' businesses and strategies, the industry ecosystem and major industry players, etc.
  • Promote Google and Google TV solutions within the Media community to establish your reputation as an expert in the industry.
  • Generate insights and make recommendations from main data sets and product releases to act on immediate business opportunities and future sales strategy.
  • Commit to coaching, enhancing team culture, and sponsoring the on-going career development of direct reports.
  • Lead and drive large cross-functional executive reviews on the global video third party programmatic business and collaborate across other promote-side teams to impact business, business growth, and account planning for sector to reduce duplication and maximize alignment.
