Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, building and supporting Hadoop applications using Spark, Scala and Hive
  • Strong knowledge of working with large data sets and high capacity big data processing platform
  • Exposure to ETL and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong experience in Unix, Shell scripting and Python
  • Strong SQL skills, and experience in at least one RDBMS
  • Must be high-energy, proactive, detail-oriented and able to function under pressure in an independent environment
  • Should have good communication skills and experience working in Agile model
  • Working knowledge of continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) using Jenkins, Ansible or related tools


Desired Skills

  • Experience in Banking and Finance domain or Global Banking domain
  • Experience in any cloud platform or technologies (e.g. Azure, Snowflake)
  • Knowledge of any data quality/profiling (e.g. Collibra) or ETL tool (e.g. Informatica, Talend)
  • Experience with source control management (e.g., Bitbucket) or job scheduling (e.g., AutoSys) tools
  • Experience working on end to end data lineage and data quality across platforms
