Position Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists in Employer Benefit Solutions for a Group Implementation Sr. Analyst on the Group Implementation team. We are looking for an energetic, analytical and creative thinker, who enjoys project management and relationship building. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful onboarding of large, sophisticated employers with diverse benefits and operations. You will also manage key initiatives for current clients including expanded benefit offerings and services, new technology, and administration changes.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Be the primary point of contact for the client, channel partner and Securian team during implementation, identifying plan details, administrative processes, and system interactions.
  • Lead onsite client meetings and virtual teleconferences. Ensure decisions are well documented and communicated to all parties.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to identify creative solutions to meet client expectations.
  • Develop and manage project plans, negotiate project deliverables and timing, resolve issues and coordinate communication for client projects, and manage non-client projects and initiatives as capacity allows.
  • Continually look for ways to improve the quality and efficiency of the implementation process.
  • Based on job level and need, prepare and present for implementation at finalist meetings.



Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated project management skills with experience leading project teams and successfully executing projects to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret information and communicate business needs, schedules, project status, issues, risks, etc. to a wide audience. Strong spelling, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Organization and planning skills to prioritize workload adjust to changing priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to travel independently (approximately 8-10 short trips annually).



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Group Insurance products, administration and services.
  • Four-year degree program completion or similar.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to utilize telephone for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to perform grasping tasks throughout the entire work day](examples: handwriting, grasping of equipment/machines, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, handling stacks of paper)
