About the role/ About the team:
Drift’s Field Operations team is a key partner in the hyper-growth of our Sales and Customer organizations. Our mission is to build a consistently high-achieving, understood, and predictable revenue engine.
If you are a positive, curious and motivated person who likes a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has the urge to improve systems and drive insights on an ongoing basis, you will enjoy being a member of the Drift Field Operations team.
What you will be doing as Go to Market Analytics Manager:
- Partnering with Sales and Customer Team leadership to run our various business units, forecasting and reporting against our goals, and identifying strategic insights to improve our business
- Managing and improving our analytical systems, tracking infrastructure, and reporting
- Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and delivering prescriptive recommendations to drive efficiencies across the organization
- Collaborating with our Systems and Business Intelligence teams to manage our available data sources, and produce clear, digestible reporting with actionable business insights
In one month, you’ll:
- Go through extensive company-wide training on Drift’s industry, offerings, and customers
- Meet with Sales, Customer Team, and Operations Leaders to understand current states of their businesses, and start to identify areas for improvement
- Learn all key components of our Go-To-Market strategy, operating model, our key funnel metrics, and systems
By month 3, you’ll:
- Deepen relationships with Sales and Customer Team leaders
- Participate and start to take an ownership role of key reporting routines/cadences
- Identify inefficiencies in our existing systems, analytics, and reporting structures -- where can we run our business more efficiently?
- Produce detailed analyses on key business initiatives and complex problems
- Familiarize yourself with the Day-in-the-Life and tech stack of the Drift Sales and Customer team members
By month 6, you’ll:
- Become a trusted advisor to the entire leadership team
- Own key functions of our analytics tech stack and routine reporting cadences
- Translate any inefficiencies or gaps you have observed into actions to address them
- Plan, execute, and measure specific Go-to-market strategies and campaigns in conjunction with Sales and Customer Team leaders
About you and what type of skills you’ll need:
- 3+ years experience in Go-to-Market Analytics, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations
- Experience in key sales tech stack systems like Looker/Tableau, Salesforce, Clari, CPQ, Gong, etc.
- B2B company experience: scaling an organization through significant growth
- Proven experience with reporting and analysis tools (Excel/Sheets, SF Dashboards & Reporting, Looker/Tableau)
- You are a self-starter with a voracious appetite to learn and grow
- You are able to translate complex data into simple insights, and communicate them effectively
- You are methodical in your routine and pride yourself in the accuracy of your work
- You are curious -- you want to be the person who solves the problem
- You are well spoken and your written and verbal communication is clear
- You can adapt to rapidly-changing environments and work with cross-functional teams
- You have a genuine interest in go-to-market motions and building the new way businesses buy from businesses
