The Challenge

We are hiring a Global Mobility Specialist who will support the execution and administration of the OneTrust US/AMER immigration program. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting immigration, relocation, and talent mobility by managing the day-to-day administration of US (or AMER) immigration cases, relocations, ensuring compliance and managing specifically permanent residency petitions for continued work authorization with third-party vendors.

Your Mission

  • Assist in policy administration, vendor management, and process design of U.S. immigration program while optimizing for enhanced employee experience on permanent residency cases. 
  • Manage high volume immigration inbox and respond to business inquiries on the visa process, stage progression, review petition documents, track and monitor critical deadlines and proactively identify risks and issues and escalate as needed.  
  • Communicate and cascade any changes in US (or AMER) immigration law (DOL, USCIS, DHS etc.) to relevant stakeholders and employees. 
  • Monitor internal compliance with global policies and guidelines. 
  • Serves as the first point of contact for Talent Acquisition, HRBPs and hiring managers to provide guidance on U.S. permanent residency process and compliance, assess relocation benefits and requirements, escalate as needed. 
  • Manage full service relocation/international assignee cycle-from approval, housing accommodation, schooling to cultural awareness trainings and other destination services offered to the assignee
  • Manage posting notices required for recruitment process for permanent residency cases 
  • Collaborate and assist with ongoing webinars and U.S  (or AMER) immigration trainings with the business. 
  • Aid with ongoing reviews of the OneTrust immigration policy. 
  • Stay abreast/up to date on US (or AMER) employment-based laws and assist with disseminating updates to HR areas impacted. 
  • Handle prevailing wage information requests. 
  • Assist with performing I-9 compliance audits. 

You Are

  • Confident, articulate and capable of influencing others to set proper business expectations  
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion utilizing company policies and principles yet knowing when to escalate  
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency and interface with all levels of employees/leadership  
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage continuous change and shifting priorities, while still providing an exceptional employee experience

Your Experience Includes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant degree preferred 
  • 4+ years of progressive immigration and compliance or comparable global mobility experience in the U.S. (or AMER), heavily focused on the permanent residency cases.  
  • Manage the day-to-day administration and quality assurance of the U.S. permanent residency cases for OneTrust (PERMs, I-140s, I-1485 etc.) and ensure the current employees maintain proper work authorization.  
  • Knowledge of HR practices, immigration law, as well as legislative and regulatory changes. 
  • Experience with PERM batch recruitment 

Extra Awesome

  • Experience utilizing technology solutions to support immigration compliance requirements 
  • Knowledge of US (or AMER) key global mobility life-cycle processes and methodologies, preferably working in a Corporate HR environment  
  • Knowledge of HRIS and applicant tracking systems, principles, and functionality 
  • Global tax, or expatriate tax experience  
  • Experience with full service relocation/destination services for international assignees/expats (housing, HHGs shipment, language training, schools etc) 
  • Coordinating pre-departure, post-arrival, assignment counseling, gross up for international payroll actions, tax settlement tied to allowances and related services 
  • Interacting with global mobility third-party vendors for constant process improvements and optimization of the global mobility programs - expatriation and repatriation 
  • GMS or CRP certification
