Job Description In our Global Incident Command Centers, or GICCs, our primary remit is to effectively manage Technology Major Incidents while minimizing impact duration, measured by MTTM/MTTR (Mean Time To Mitigate/Resolve). GTI, Global Technology Infrastructure, owns these Command Centers, and it's the role of the GTI GICC Strategy Team to foster collaboration and drive initiatives via OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) across all LOBs in order to help the teams in the room keep MTTM/MTTR down.
As a GICC Strategy Analyst, you'll join a growing and agile team that facilitates collaboration and drives innovation by partnering with PACs (Production Assurance Centers) and other teams who populate the GICCs in order to maintain our high degree of cross-LOB collaboration while helping our Line of Business partners to develop and drive forward the initiatives that make our GICC teams more effective (automation, toil reduction, and global standardization are 3 common themes in GICC OKRs. This is a Monday-through-Friday role, and currently we are looking in Houston and Columbus.

  • Flexibility in sometimes needing to attend a meeting outside of normal hours (for instance, an NAMR employee may need to occasionally schedule/attend a meeting in EMEA or APAC office hours)
  • Problem solver, critical thinker, go-getter, internally motivated to succeed by exceeding expectations
  • Able to demonstrate completed delivery of initiatives / projects
  • The right balance of thinker and doer
    • Too much noodling and we don't get our initiatives over the line
    • Too quick to act and we won't effectively collaborate or we'll deliver something that needs reworked


Here is some of what you'll be doing in this role:

  • Fostering collaboration in the GICC
  • Facilitating OKRs: Planning, executing in tandem with GICC personages and getting them over the line (delivering and either moving on or moving them into an ongoing operational state)
  • Developing GICC Strategy goals by integrating GTI strategy themes and aims with those shared by LOB partners
  • Running meetings, recording notes/minutes, sending agendas and minutes, completing assigned action items, and following up on others with actions assigned
  • Working across the globe with different regions, time zones, and levels of management across all LOBs
  • Creating, communicating, and evaluating the results of surveys
  • SharePoint management
  • Participating in regional GICC leadership meetings
  • Lending insight into procedural and process-related discussions across the GICC disciplines


Here are some "nice-to-have" qualities that will help you to be more effective in the role:

  • Having worked in a JPMC GICC or equivalent experience is going to give you a significant head start on being effective in this role
  • HTML/web design experience
  • Project Management experience, PMP certification
  • ITIL certification
