Job Title: GCP Architect
Roles & Responsibilities
- This position is for GCP ETL Architect with experience in GCP BigQuery DataFlow/DataFusion Shell scripting.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts. Understanding of modern data warehouse solutions using cloud platforms
- Should be able to own the Design and drive delivery for Data Engineering requirements.
- Should be strong in UNIX Shell scripting and SQL. Should have experience in complex queries.
- Good understanding of GCP, (only on data products like Data Flow Big query Cloud SQL Pubsub etc.) GCP will be preferred.
- Good experience on ETL and Data Engineeriing should be able to reverse engineering based on available system and produce documents to support ETL design/- Business Teams.
- Good to have experience in Java GCP Dataflow and DataProc with Data Pipeline Projects
- Experienced working in a group of passionate developers in an agile high-energy fast paced and outcome-oriented environment.
- Experienced with ELT/ETL processes to transform data using Informatica (or any other Tool) who can analyze existing codes to write equivalent codes using Shell Script SQL Cloud based technologies. Understanding of Teradata or any other RDBMS system. Can analyze BTEQ or equivalent Scripts and write SQL Queries in modern SQL Environments like Big Query.
- Good to have knowledge of the Data Warehouse systems and Data Marts for complex applications
- Excellent communication skills
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - 150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
