Functional Analyst (Records Management)
Job Description
ASRC Federal is seeking a Functional Analyst/Records Management to support a Dept of State contract located in Arlington, VA.
Work arrangement: Hybrid (must be flexible to go onsite in 2023)
Clearance: must have an active Secret clearance
Summary: Provide records and information management program services to a Federal government agency. Assists with all aspects of establishing and maintaining compliant Federal record programs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Federal records management program staff in performing daily operations, projects, analysis, and reporting functions.
- Assist with revisions to records management policies, procedures, and standards as it relates to the Federal Records Act.
- Process requests as needed and assist SME(s) with training on records management policies and procedures and software to government agency employees and contractors on an as needed basis.
- Create Bureau Guidance Documents.
- Support the agency's Essential Records program.
- Support the Records Management Help Desk by promptly responding to information request from individual bureaus and offices.
- Provide program/project management administrative support as needed.
- Assist with eRecords submission and archiving.
- Update and consolidate the Departments Records Disposition Schedules.
- Monitor and improve the implemented Capstone e-mail strategy.
- Develop a wide variety of highly technical and detailed guidance and policy documents.
Requirements
- Requirements:
- Proficiency with MS office suite.
- Demonstrate ability to manage Agency-wide records management.
- Must have an Active Secret clearance
- Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Federal records management
- Experience conducting records inventories
- Experience updating records and information management systems
- Experience formulating, documenting high level business requirements
- Experience in drafting policies, procedures, reports or training
- Ability to work independently on tasks
- NARA certification desirable
