The FTO Communications Analyst will play an important strategic role in the Finance Transformation Office by working closely with the wider Finance Transformation Organization teams. This role will assist in developing and executing relevant communications to the FTO team and beyond as well as support resource tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work with communications manager and individual business function leadership to develop and execute internal communications plan and messaging, to include delivery in various channels.
• Develop initiative-specific communications, organizational announcements newsletters, reports, decks, speeches or presentations.
• Partner with culture-driving teams within the organization to consult, develop and deliver communications in support of Citi's leadership principles and culture.
• Source, develop, and ensure relevance of content for various internal channels to extend exposure of initiatives/successes within the broader Citi organization
• Understands key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear written presentations/communications
• Maintain Resource Tracker up to date, interacting with all relevant partners to ensure accuracy.
• Produce periodic reports with FTO staffing Progress, as well as provides ad-hoc updates requested by other teams
• Express a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Financial Services preferably in Communications roles
• Excellent written and oral communications skills, with a commanding and convincing delivery and the ability to synthesize complex concepts, translate into 'user friendly' language and effectively present in long-form documents or slide format.
• Robust analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail, balanced with appreciation of the bigger-picture goals and objectives.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume and complex environment with changing priorities and with a practical solutions-driven approach
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency
• Able to translate data and metrics from across different constituencies in order to create clear and concise executive presentation materials.
• Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down business and/or functional silos to optimize results.
• Organizationally savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret. Pragmatic problem solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.
• Able to leverage interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships and support the decision-making process
