SUMMARY

Morgan Stanley is looking for a Senior Technical Business leader for our Middle Office team. This team is responsible for all Core Brokerage and Cash Management Applications for the firm. This role will act as a Single point of contact as an SME for all retail brokerage, banking & cash management technology initiatives and the starting point for those discussions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Highly motivated and proactive with an ability to handle multiple areas and be able to complete assignments within time constraints and deadline

Use knowledge in quantitative & qualitative research methods & technology to perform detailed business analysis on current & proposed technology solutions related to mission critical systems & applications at Morgan Stanley.

Utilize customer & industry data to model the impact of key initiatives & the technological opportunities & risks to the organization.

Conduct research & analysis on information technology patterns & effectiveness patterns of products, services & technology solutions.

Critically review analysis results seeking opportunities to optimize the Business Units output & provide actionable recommendations to Business partners & Project Manager in order to achieve key Morgan Stanley business objectives.

Partner with Business users, Morgan Stanley's Technology Department, & Project Managers from across the company to ascertain requirements & transform these into a functional specification document.

Interact with Project Management Office to develop project plans to achieve key business objectives.

Leverage interpersonal skills to work in a team environment & communicate effectively across a variety of stakeholder groups.

This team is responsible for all vendor management

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Basic

Candidates should have 10 + years of Technical Business Analysis leadership and SME experience

Good knowledge of using SQL commands and basic understanding of Databases - 10+ Years of experience

Basic Unix/Linux commands - 10+ years of experience

Preferred

Familiarity with SOAP based architecture and API - 5+ Years of experience

Experience working on Core Banking Platforms - 5+ Years of experience

Experience working with JIRA and Confluence - 5+ years of experience

Experience working on Money Movement Channels like ACH, Wires, BillPay, Checks and Debit Card processing - 3 + years of experience

Preferred
