Executive Compensation Manager - Remote Eligible
Our Opportunity:
This role can be based out of any one of our Chewy Corporate hubs (Bellevue, Boston, Minneapolis, Plantation) or remote in the United States. Additional location restrictions within the US may apply.
Chewy is hiring an Executive Compensation Manager, who will report to the Manager of Executive Compensation, is responsible for analysis, vendor management, process management, and functional expertise for Chewy’s executive compensation programs. Collaborating across HR, Finance, and Legal, the ideal candidate can manage large data sets from varied sources, identify trends, tell a story, and make recommendations.
What you’ll do:
- Work with Manager of Executive Compensation and the broader HR leadership team to develop and implement compensation strategies that deliver salary, bonus, and equity that is internally and externally market relevant
- Prepare compensation recommendations for Chewy’s senior leadership
- Prepare all applicable reporting and support materials for Executive and Compensation Committee approval
- Assist in the annual preparation of the Chewy Proxy
- Develop and communicate compensation education materials on philosophy, strategy, and applicable programs
- Manage applicable executive level salary survey processes and evaluate market data for executive positions
- Advise senior leadership regarding executive compensation trends and practices
- Lead miscellaneous executive compensation projects
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- 4+ years of experience in an executive compensation (high growth and / or consulting, preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, v-lookups, advanced formulas, and use of VBA/macros)
- Fluency with Microsoft Office, including Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience partnering with senior-level executives across HR, Finance, Legal, and the C-Suite
- Excellent communication, influencing, and analytical skills
- Creative and innovative approach to troubleshooting and solving problems in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented with demonstrated organization and time management skills
- Position may require travel
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $78,500-$159,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
