Job Summary

The Comcast Reactor organization is responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining Comcast's Change, Incident, and Problem management focus tools and technologies. Our goal is provide us customers with tools and data insights that can stimulate efficient conversations on how to tackle and solve the next big challenge in a highly collaborative environment.

The Engineer, Reporting and Data Management will take on a hybrid Reporting and data management position driving business-critical initiatives. The person in this role will be exposed to high impact and high visibility analytical demands. Provides input or may prepare complex/intricate reports/presentations based on the interpretation of analyzed data.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Design, maintain and deploy consumable, interactive, and thought-provoking dashboards for operational and management decision-making
  • Apply business intelligence and analytics tools to build and visualize information for Senior Stakeholders (i.e. using ServiceNow Reporting Module, Tableau, and Excel or another visualization tool (s)).
  • Extract, transform and load data and perform data analysis using MS SQL Server and AWS-based technologies
  • Assist in the preparation of internal reporting, senior management reports, and specialized reporting on an ad-hoc basis
  • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
  • Implement and enforce data governance standards and procedures
  • Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
  • Partner with groups and various levels of seniority to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution

  • Develop business relationships and partnerships with multi-functional targeted business owners and senior leaders across the organization.
  • Educate other team members, associates, and leaders across the firm on data and statistical concepts and standard methodologies

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Self-motivated with a good mix of technical, coding, and data analysis skills
  • Ability to lead cross-departmental teams in design, testing, and implementation.
  • Architecture background would be considered a PLUS
  • Preferred experience with Tableau, SQL, ServiceNow, AWS, and ETL Tools
  • Strong willingness to learn and development
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
