POSITION OVERVIEW DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a highly driven individual to lead our North American Gas Markets Intelligence research team . As a senior member of the team, you will lead fundamental research focusing on regional N orth American natural gas markets , c ollaborat ing with a multidisciplinary team of financial analysts, engineers, geologists, data scientists and developers. Examples of the research you could undertake include operational and ESG benchmarking, productivity and economic optimization and technology assessments. Collectively, you will work to both enhance our technology platform and leverage it to interact directly with clients, institutional investors, and corporate clients, and help answer some of the hardest questions facing industry and investors today. The ideal candidate can provide independent execution while supporting team initiatives, including client calls and in-person roadshows.

• Build and maintain model s to analyze key N orth American natural gas basis points , to help form f undamentally driven views on key region s .
• Construct a basis forecast for key pricing hubs .
• Respond to specific client requests about how changing market dynamics impact specific assets.
• Mentor younger analyst s on the specifics of regional natural gas fundamental s .
• Co-ordinate with macro group on the formation of a N orth American/ G lobal natural gas market outlook .
• Write and publish actionable insight that helps our clients make better investment or development decisions.
• Aggregate and analyze large data sets to identify trends, characterize opportunities, value assets, value companies and generate opinions on market activity using internal workflows built in Enverus Prism™.
• Participate in conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging or demonstrating Enverus Intelligence™ and Enverus Core™ solutions to help answer some of the most challenging questions facing industry and investors today.
• Opportunity to travel across North America for in-person client meetings.

ROLE COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• Work under limited supervision to manage project timelines and expectations. Receives general instruction on managing scope and priorities.
• Applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through work experience and advanced education.
• Problems faced can be complex and require prioritization.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas operations .
• Highly computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analytic tools.
• Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must possess excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and mentorship skills.
• Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosity.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• 5 + years of relevant industry experience on regional natural gas markets . Relevant experience includes basis- trader, fundamental analyst, or corporate strategy.
• Prior focus on the Gulf Coast and North East would be an asset .
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering/Finance/Accounting/Economics, or related field .
• Understand the fundamentals and/or economic analysis of the E&P industry.
• Obtained or pursuing a professional designation (CFA, MBA, P.Eng., P.Geo ).
