Directs, creates, plans, organizes and analyzes business and strategic plans and programs, customer programs, competitive analyses, new business opportunities, business plans and forecasts. Provides a safe and productive work environment and recruits highly talented employees in support of company and organizational objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, mathematics, economics, computer science or other quantitative fields such as engineering/operations research. Significant directly related experience in a corporate environment including demonstrably successful management experience International, air freight, pricing or package transportation industry experience. Strong human relations, communications and analytical skills. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
Special Requirements: Master's degree in business, mathematics, economics, computer science or other quantitative fields such as engineering/operations research plus 3 year of experience in the job offered or 3 years significant directly related experience in a corporate environment including demonstrably successful management experience International, air freight, pricing or package transportation industry experience. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in business, finance, marketing or other directly related discipline plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years significant directly related experience in a corporate environment including demonstrably successful management experience International, air freight, pricing or package transportation industry experience in lieu of a Master's degree plus 3 year of experience. Must have three years of experience with the following: UNIX operating system; Oracle PL/SQL programming; Power BI business intelligence application; Java/J2EE programming framework; statistical and quantitative modeling; business analytics and insights and business data storytelling and Teradata database analytics application. Must have two years of experience with the following: Informatica PowerCenter ETL application. Strong human relations, communication and analytical skills. A related Master's Degree equals two years' experience. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
*Employer will accept one year directly related work experience in lieu of one year of education*
