Job Summary

Barings is embarking on an exciting and dramatic evolution as a global asset management company in order to become more client-centric, technologically-enabled, and data-driven. To support the evolution a new role is being established to effectively manage Global Technology and Operations' ("GTO") commitments and produce high-value content through a data-centric mindset to effectively support the organization's evolution.

The Director of GTO Business Analysis will utilize their extensive knowledge and skills to collaborate with business partners to develop a holistic view of commitments and support making strategic adjustments as needed. Reporting into Business Planning and Reporting, you will bring a deep understanding of prioritization & capacity planning to manage competing demands among critical stakeholders, Balanced Scorecard methodology to communicate and track value, and client service mindset to build strong relationships throughout the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive integrated planning and analysis for the GTO organization and act as a single point of contact for Business Planning and Reporting
• Create prioritization process to ensure effective application of scarce resources to drive progress for Barings
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business to establish an effective engagement model
• Partner with FP&A and GTO teams with budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
• Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated
• Manage business operating cadences that apply Balanced Scorecard and business review methodologies across the GTO organization
• Build and/or maintain operational dashboards and reporting suite to track, manage, and provide valuable insights on metrics and KPIs
• Author and deliver executive level presentations and reports

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of demonstrated success in a variety of roles within complex companies. Including by not limited to project portfolio management, chief of staff, business management.
• Ability to rationalize competing demands and optimize use of scarce resources against competing priorities
• Actively engage stakeholders to manage trade-offs among competing business needs
• Hand on experience with business intelligence tools to publish scorecards, project progress, prioritizations, key metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
