About the Role

Join us as Director of Data Product, Platform and be instrumental in helping achieve our vision to change behavior and revolutionize payment in the gigantic and increasingly tech-savvy construction industry.

As a Director of Data Product, Platform, you will manage three sets of products: data infrastructure/ingestion pipelines, data management tools, and data api’s / services. We have consistently collected >2.3M construction projects annually and monitor >$6B of construction payment claims every year. The data management tools enable our research experts to create, update, enrich, and delete the data directly to enforce our data governance and quality guidelines. Our stack currently consists of technologies like MySQL, PHP, Neo4J, Python, Redis, and other modern tools in a highly scalable microservices architecture.

This role will drive execution for several technical data development / engineering pods and reports to the VP of Data Products and is based in New Orleans, LA, or Austin, TX. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

    • Managing a rigorous prioritization process that balances the needs of multiple stakeholders across the suite of data products as well as supporting FinTech business units like Capital and Insurance products.

  • Planning & Execution

    • Drive tightly aligned business execution: Be responsible for driving data consumption growth across all facets (data ingestions, data analytics, data streams / services) with key company-wide OKRs that require evangelism and communication across the organization

    • Work cross-functionally with other data product managers, business unit leaders, data scientists, data engineers, data researchers, data analysts, and software engineers to identify and implement complex data systems, services, and data pipelines

    • Deliver monthly and quarterly release level strategy and user story prioritization with development teams to execute against key product milestones
