Why This Role is Exciting:

At AuditBoard, we are building out a world class customer organization with proven leaders from the SaaS and audit, risk, and compliance industries.  Customer Obsession is a way of life for us, and the successful candidate will partner with our Chief Customer Officer to create the vision and execution plan to make it happen.  Here is a sample of things you’ll get to do: 

  • Be our CCO’s “Right Hand Person”
  • Manage the health of our customer base and drive forecast predictability on revenue metrics (implementation, renewals, expansions, etc.)
  • Drive the annual planning process including: target setting, headcount planning, prioritization, and compensation planning
  • Identify processes, inefficiencies, and workflow improvements to drive operational improvement
  • Through data, develop repeatable “playbooks” (e.g., improving product adoption, quarterly customer reviews, identifying expansion opportunities) to be executed by the CS Organization
  • Build out and mentor team for “smart growth” 
  • Collaborate with passionate teammates across the company to execute key projects & workstreams


Attributes for a Successful Candidate: 

  • 10+ years of customer/sales operations experience preferably in a hyper-growth,SaaS environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Your Operations Management and PMO experience in the Enterprise Software Services space, preferably SaaS, with responsibility for designing and managing to operational processes and budgets in international environments
  • Your Enterprise Software implementation and consulting experience, whether at a GSI or at a hypergrowth SaaS company
  • Analytics experience to diagnose and prescribe the help the CS team needs
  • An operator mindset to help the team execute at the highest possible level
  • Leadership and facilitating skills to run the team’s Rhythm of Business processes (QBRs, Customer Health reviews, Renewals forecast, etc.)
  • Empathy and ability to connect with colleagues at all levels, from leadership to individual contributors
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business model metrics and ability to present them credibly and with influence.
  • Experience leading a high performing team of operations and analytics professionals
  • Ability to manage technology vendors, their services to AuditBoard, and recognize/adjust any T&Cs contractually when appropriate.
