The Headlines:

In the role of Director, Business Analytics you will work closely with the Molson Coors Leadership Team (MCLT) to provide business intelligence leadership that drives business value and achieve strategic goals. In this role you will serve as a visible change agent and transformation leader, demonstrating effective influence and collaboration and proactively provide leadership on new and emerging advanced business intelligence processes and technologies. This position reports to the VP of Advanced Analytics and works out of our Corporate Office in Milwaukee, WI.

The Responsibilities:

  • Sets and leads the business intelligence strategy and approach for each function aligned with MCLT priorities.
  • Leads the application of advanced reporting to business challenges ensuring both analytical rigor and application through to business benefit realization.
  • Translates complex analytics & models into simple, scalable tools, insights & dashboards that can be easily understood, used & actioned effectively by the business.
  • Develops strategies for the effective dissemination of all standard business intelligence work streams into actionable insights for the MCLT - prepares and presents MBR one source of truth
  • Mentor analytics and reporting professionals across a variety of teams & countries on analytics capability, best practices and driving insight into action
  • Build/lead ad-hoc training/education sessions with stakeholders and end users to build adoption and usage of business intelligence within the organization
  • Embodies a client service mindset, operates as a value-added business partner with a solutions orientation. Demonstrated collaboration, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strategic thought leadership, credibility to influence business agenda. Demonstrated ability to leverage both analytics and conceptual application of learning.
  • Objectivity, resilience, and flexibility to manage strategic & complex business opportunities



The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, business, or a related field. MBA or Masters preferred (statistics or research focus preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years management or supervisory experience.
  • 8+ years of market research/analytics experience, demonstrated experience in applied analytics including a broad range of qualitative and quantitative techniques and their business application.
  • You demonstrate the capability to derive insights from analytics outputs that drive business performance required.
  • You have excellent technical skills in Microsoft EXCEL, SQL & SAS or equivalent statistical software and/or programming language and data visualization tool development (e.g., Tableau) required. Experience with advanced analytical methodologies and tools, e.g., Python, R, preferred.
  • You demonstrate leadership abilities to inspire and to focus on change activities/processes to enhance the business partner's ability to achieve the Company's objective.
  • You demonstrate capability to apply technical knowledge to strategic business issues and to strengthen the probability of success of the strategic business issues.
  • You have the desire to build and maintain successful relationships at all levels of management and staff to help them achieve success in their strategies and processes.
  • You effectively perform more than one task at a time to meet deadlines.
  • You work with different levels of employees in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.
  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize teamwork and team building skills.
  • Approximately 15% travel is associated with this position.
