Director, Analytics

As the Director, Analytics, you drive efficient and effective solutions for delivering analytics, insights and KPI’s to support the Value Based Care programs for our clients and business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategy and execution of analytic solutions that drive value based care programs and alternative payment models including roadmaps, improve financial outcomes and increase opportunities for quality improvement for Enlace Health and Enlace's clients.
• Manage a team of Healthcare Data Analysts that perform various functions such as value based care  configuration, trend analysis and predictive analytics that result in reports, KPI’s, dashboards, interactive web portals.
• Present and discuss analytic results, insights, and recommendations to all levels of the organization in a simplified manner with confidence and expertise.
• Collaborate with the Product Strategy team to define, develop and deliver product enhancements based on internal stakeholders and client feedback as well as drive customer engagement and usage.
• Ensure analytics will support key strategic decisions and incorporate relevant insights and KPI’s that provide actionable insights that inform strategic and tactical decisions.
• Effectively communicate with and execute on requirements identified by Enlace's client and network services teams.
• Create and manage processes that ensure the data is translated into information that describes accurate and meaningful facts to stakeholders with recommended actions.
• Perpetual dedication to process improvement and data quality initiatives, and data gathering objectives to ensure data integrity and that will scale with the organization.
• Proactively research analytic trends and insights in the value based care industry to ensure Enlace's solutions exceed expectations.  
• Develop client educational collateral material to support the usage of Enlace solution’s as necessary.
• Provide subject matter expertise to clients on data analysis, value-based care, and use of the Enlace platform.
• Serve as business owner of Enlace's analytic solutions.
• Establish, maintain, and leverage relationships with Enlace clients where appropriate.
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to accelerate and ensure Enlace's success.

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years experience managing a data analytics or data science team in the healthcare industry.
• 7+ years experience in data analytics, predictive modeling, and working with large datasets from payers, providers, and employers.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare financial management, information management, statistics, or related field (an advanced degree is highly preferred).
• In-depth experience working with healthcare data including medical and pharmacy claims, member and provider data.
• Highly skilled at:
  • queries, database programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R, or SAS);
  • report design and creation;
  • workflows, process development and management; and
  • presentation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.
• Positive and driven problem solver with a passion for data exploration to find measurable insights.
• Ability to effectively diagnose potential barriers and propose resolutions that have measurable and positive business impact.
• Excellent strategic thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills.
• Experience in presenting complex information in a clear, understandable and visual manner.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, professional writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining detail-oriented.
• Team development and mentorship experience.
• Comfortable leading multiple client-serving teams in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and desire to take on more than assigned in an entrepreneurial environment.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Prior experience leading a team in the healthcare analytics and/or data science space.
• Prior experience leading a team in a software/SaaS company.
• Extensive knowledge of alternative payment models, specifically bundled payments.
• Deep understanding of healthcare financing.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Qlikview, or similar.
• Experience with cloud based platform, Amazon S3, and relational databases such as Redshift.
