We're looking for an analytics thought leader to join the Mint leadership team and play a key part in helping drive and sustain Mint's growth as it works to help consumers spend smarter. Mint is already the leading personal finance app trusted by millions across the US and Canada to keep track of all their money. It keeps people motivated to achieve their goals every day through amazing insights and personal advice for their unique situation. With data at the core of the Mint product experience, ownership of the end to end data strategy for Mint is critical to our strategy and execution across product and marketing. The Director of Analytics for Mint will play a pivotal cross-functional role in charting the path for Mint's future.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Data & Analytics, the Director of Analytics, Mint will be responsible for driving the end to end data strategy for Mint, our award winning financial app. With data at the core of Mint's strategy, this leader will be critical to enabling Mint's growth, working across all areas of the business to drive business decisions and inform product/marketing experiences. Additionally, this leader will be a critical stakeholder in defining and executing on the data capabilities needed to accelerate Intuit's biggest priorities. This leader will be accountable for influencing Mint's strategy and business operations by enabling faster decisions leveraging data, and for driving vision and alignment around a multi-year analytics roadmap.

The Director of Analytics will bring expertise in analytics, personalization, and targeting to deliver capabilities that will serve as the foundation for tailored in-product experiences, data-driven acquisition/reactivation efforts, and our future marketplace strategy.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience leading and inspiring a high-performing data team to support growth objectives
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with both business and technology leaders, with a strong understanding of business data requirements and technology capabilities
  • Understanding of advanced analytic techniques and modern tools
  • Experience working with analytic solutions and the science behind them, either as a provider of these solutions or as a client that uses them
  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing the analytic portfolios across multiple vertical markets and geographies
  • Familiarity with the trends and opportunities in the big data and MarTech space
  • Experience in unlocking the power of data within an Agile development environment
  • Desire to "roll up the sleeves" and get into the heart of the business
  • Familiarity and experience working with financial services
  • Demonstrable ability to work across a global matrix and ability to put strong communication, leadership and influencing skills to work



How you will lead

  • Operate as a visionary leader and thought partner to the Mint and Analytics leadership teams, with the ability to guide, influence and inspire peak performance across the analytics functions
  • Bring data-driven approach to key strategic decisions for Mint, influencing product and marketing leaders through opportunity sizing, user segmentation and understanding, experiment results, and behavioral trends
  • Develop the analytic roadmap and partner with other data teams to help shape a unified data strategy to support business growth
  • Understand the analytic needs of the consumer marketplace through interactions with clients, partners, and internal constituencies
  • Partner with Intuit AI to develop a data science strategy that spans across all areas of the business, from product innovation to customer success
  • Engage with business partners to provide common understanding of business priorities and data implications (prioritization and resourcing)
  • Create shared data governance principles and accountability across the analytics functions
  • Conduct in-depth strategic research of our competitors and market needs to guide decisions around data monetization strategies
  • Guide and inspire the teams around analytics best practices, and evangelize strategic use of data to increase data literacy throughout the entire organization
  • Continually look at the environment to challenge our assumptions around new sources of data, tools, talent, potential partners, etc.
