The Advanced Quantitative Research (AQR) group is responsible for developing innovative approaches and propating best practices in quantitative market research across the firm. The team currently includes a combination of methodologists and business consulting staff who are focused on areas like demand estimation that require more advanced statistical techniques.
DIRECTOR OF ADVANCED QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH
Responsibilities :
- Developing the team strategy and overseeing the professional development of employees who are in the AQR
- Identifying the longterm needs for the team and helping junior methodologists to grow into these roles
- Developing the strategy for improving quantitative research across the firm by developing an extended community of practitioners across the Business Consulting group outside of the AQR
- Developing training plans and best practices for quantitative market research
- Leading discussions with clients and internal practice leads to drive enhancements
- Developing the strategy for new product development, leveraging other methodologists as needed
- Establishing credibility across a broad range of common quantitative methods with both internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in statistics, economics, marketing or related quantitative discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of marketing analytics experience with demonstrated experience in statistical and econometric analysis, applied to healthcare industry
- Deep knowledge and experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as multivariate regression analysis, predictive modeling, factor analyses, cluster analyses, latent class segmentation, and conjoint analyses / discrete choice modeling; the understanding of advanced analytical research techniques should be at both theoretical and practical level
- Ability to fully understand and be comfortable in our existing offering (given space and time to learn)
- Must be able to develop and remain abreast with new methodologies and quickly integrate to ZS
- Ability to lead, grow and motivate research and analytical professionals both onshore and offshore
- Intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial drive, structured thinking and problem-solving skills
- Analytically creative with a passion for innovation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Executive-level presence and communication
- Prior leadership experience in developing marketing science teams in a consulting organization will be preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with external clients and internal colleagues across the organization
- Demonstrated success in business development
ZS is a global consulting firm. Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
