POSITION OVERVIEW

This role will have responsibility for helping develop and drive the electronic business and data interfaces associated with our growing life and annuity business.  Successful incumbent will partner closely with operational teams, sales colleagues, life and annuity industry colleagues, and key vendor partners. 

 Key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving development and on-going support of industry standard distribution automation solutions across Global Atlantic’s Life and Annuity platforms
  • Analyzing platform change and conducting disciplined QA testing
  • Creating clear and concise documentation for development partners, operations partners, and other stakeholders
  • Partner with TPAs and platform vendors to define and implement industry standard automation capabilities
  • Triaging and resolving support issues for operations and distribution partners
  • Provide subject matter expertise on supported services for internal partners and project teams – presenting capabilities, assessing impacts, and strategic recommendations
  • Develop and manage partnerships with key distributor back-office contacts as well as life and annuity industry peers

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience preferred
  • Minimum of one year of life and annuity insurance industry experience in an operational and/or, technology role
  • Detail oriented with experience conducting structured system testing
  • Experience with business analysis discipline, documentation, and execution of project tasks
  • Knowledge of the business and operational workflows related to life insurance and annuity products
  • Ability to work independently as well in a close team environment
  • Advanced problem solving skills and creative thinking
  • Strong level of adaptability, work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
