Job Description
The Manager of Digital Analytics will be an extension of client Analytics support team. This individual will analyze marketing performance data to learn how customers engage with marketing campaigns. Analysis will help client and marketing teams learn how to develop better-performing campaigns and ensure success of client marketing investments.
This role will be focused on generating insights from a variety of digital marketing initiatives, including web traffic, social media, search, paid display media and CRM marketing, to name a few. In addition to working on high visibility digital channels, the Manager of Analytics will also work cross-functionally with our internal account management, creative, strategy, tech, database, and project management teams.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a team expert in digital analytics spanning Web, Mobile, Social, SEM, Email and Media
  • Provide digital analytics guidance consisting of identifying, planning, and executing analysis opportunities
  • Developing measurement plans which contain benchmarks and goals for campaigns
  • Creating and presenting customized marketing performance reports. These reports will outline the key successes, areas for improvement, and strategic recommendations to be implemented moving forward for client
  • Accessing and analyzing digital marketing data from a variety of analytic tools
  • The Manager will be responsible for pulling reports and data analysis along with focusing heavily on crafting the marketing results presentations and providing key insights/recommendations
  • Analyzing digital marketing performance based on customer and product segmentation and developing segmentation approaches for customers and prospects.
  • Recommending contact optimization and test/learn strategies to maximize revenue and profit
  • Managing and working on web analytics audits and measurement frameworks to ensure all KPI's are tracking appropriately and that these KPI's ladder back up to business objectives
  • Identifying potential data quality issues; responsible for quality assurance testing and guidance for correction of any issues that are observed


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing analytics)
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics or customer retention analytics
  • Proficient in SAS and/or SQL; minimum 5 years of experience
  • Team player with the ability to mentor and manage junior resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good at developing relationships across cross-functional teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources)
  • Ability to display data visually, creating powerful presentations which effectively demonstrate the value of analytic deliverables
  • Highly motivated and collaborative
  • Strong technical skills
  • Acute attention to detail (QA/QC)
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Professional judgment


Desirable Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
  • Automotive industry marketing experience/knowledge
  • Experience mentoring or managing direct report(s)
  • Proficient with business visualization tools (e.g. interactive dashboard software)
  • Travel 5%-10%
  • Ability to program in R and Python; working knowledge of Hadoop and other big data technologies
