What You Will Be Doing
- Review, analyze, and interpret correspondence related to funding documentation
- Ensure loan settlements are processed according to governmental regulations and requirements
- Communicate professionally with clients and third parties through multiple channels (phone, email, workflow tools)
- Research and resolve internal and externally submitted loan account questions and problems
- Perform high risk task processing including maintenance on accounts (e.g. payment/research corrections, loan payoff processing, fee processing, loan modifications)
- Meet production standards for loan servicing tasks:
- Complete account maintenance
- Process loan payoff requests and paid loans
- Book pending trades
- Monitor daily reports and follow-up
- Perform quality review of loans and various loan processing tasks
- Process account closure requests
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience
- Typically, 0-2 years’ experience in banking/finance industry
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, with basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret credit agreements and other loan documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and multi-task
- Accustomed to taking initiative and ownership of job responsibilities
- Capable of working well with others in a team environment
- Accurate and timely job performance, with flexibility in scheduling
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and targets
