Database Engineer

We are building out the latest generation of credit reporting services supporting hundreds of thousands of visitors daily, on mobile and desktop. We are looking for an experienced, and passionate Database Engineer to join our remote team. Our collaborative environment relies on innovation and technical experience. Interested? You Will
- Be an important member of the technical team responsible for maintaining transaction database systems
- Manage development of database changes in a SQL Server environment
- Be the liaison with Database operations team and Development Team
- Translate requirements from multiple teams to database structure
- Oversee implementation and support of ETL, monitoring and reporting processes
You Have:
- 5+ years of SQL Server experience with Data Development / Architecture Skills (T-SQL, SP's)
- Experience working with development teams to deliver database objects and database code
- Reverse engineer stored procedure and table relationships from front-end systems and end-user requirements
- Experience understanding and documenting system data flow
- Experience interacting directly with operations management in a financial services environment
- Experience and competence creating operational requirements and turning those requirements into data-outputs
- Understanding of end-user reporting concepts
Nice to Have
- DBA experience at an enterprise level environment
- Experience with our specific technology stack is preferred but not required: RESTful API written in Golang and Node.js
- Svelte for front end theming
- Microservices running on K8s engine @GCP
- Horizontally scaling MS SQL Server, Terraform as IaC, and Onprem 50/50 split between Linux and Windows.
Pay Transparency:
Salary Range: $109,000 - $140,000
The pay range above represents the current low and high end of the compensation band for this position and may change in the future. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as candidate skills, qualifications and experience. Other compensation may include equity options and incentives.
