What you will be doing
Provide database support services to application teams and Technology Services Group (TSG) operations teams including the Network Operations Center. May require knowledge of multiple database management systems on one or more operating systems.

• Primary duties include database software installation, upgrade/patching, infrastructure management and creation and support of application databases.
• Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures while collaborating with other departments to prioritize database development needs
• Enable and support the team in resolving day-to-day production issues, application upgrades and patches, performance analysis, disaster recovery implementation, capacity planning and other activities as may be necessary.
• Manage design and development, administration and/or administration of databases and database applications on multiple database technologies and platforms.
• Manage a technical staff of analysts, administrators and other personnel who are proficient with multiple database technologies and technical platforms in use at FIS

What you bring:

• At least 8+ years of SQL DBA experience covering implementation, production support and project work.
• 3+ years of lead or management experience
• Experience with SQL Sever 2012 -2019.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience with HADR is a plus.
• Experience with database monitoring tools, able to provide recommendations
• PowerShell, batch scripting.
