Your Role and Responsibilities
The VBA Database Administrator (DBA) will lead, analyze, and perform work necessary to support program goals and capabilities; providing database administration services for SQL Server database, developing DDL scripts to create and maintain database objects; Also responsible for monitoring database performance, analyzing execution plans, and tuning database and application performance; Must have advanced analytical knowledge of data and ability to conduct big data analysis and utilize visualization tools to take advantage of the growing volume of available information.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 10 years of experience with managing relational databases such as SQL Server, DB2 or Oracle
• At least 3 years of experience with deep understanding of how to troubleshoot database issues and ability to do performance tuning on complex platforms
• At least 3 years of experience working with AWS databases
• At least 2 years of experience & proficiency with SQL,SQL/PL. T-SQL etc.
• At least 2 years of experience with AI/automation, analytics, business, technology or digital strategy projects
• At least 2 years of experience & familiarity with cognitive, automation, and related emerging technologies and techniques
• At least 2 years of experience with Broad-based general technology ecosystem and industry understanding
• VA Agency Clearance required

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 2 years of experience with Public Sector Clients (US Federal, Higher Education, State and Local Governments)
• General knowledge and experience with leading automation software products
