Boeing is looking for a Data Steward Integrator (Level 2)for our Dallas, TX facility to assist in advancing Boeing Global Services' mission critical initiatives & preparing our business for the future. The Data Steward & Integrator will be an integral member of the Boeing Global Services Supply Chain Information Logistics team and will have responsibly around data quality, definition and usage requirements.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an understanding of industry standards and best practices around data management. The candidate will maintain a business-unit perspective for fitness of information and data in business processes while understanding linkage of data to be used across Boeing Global Services' business units.
Using your talent, you will partner with leaders, subject matter experts & key stakeholders to drive innovation, accelerate change, reduce redundancy, evolve our business & optimize our operations.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas, TX.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides ongoing support to perform material and vendor master data setup/maintenance with a high quality mindset
  • Updates and maintenance may be performed in mass or adhoc via workflow
  • Performs analysis of data quality to identify and correct data quality completeness and correctness issues, ensuring data is being properly managed
  • Partners with internal and external users to address inquires, as well as, strengthen their understanding of procedures & polices related to data requests
  • Understands linkage of data to mitigate downstream system or business impacts
  • Executes queries to support data analysis efforts
  • Support new initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teams including Business Users, Information Technology & External Partners to resolve data conflicts, process issues, elicit business requirements, document analysis, conduct user acceptance testing and provide solutions
  • Participates in assessments to ensure IT solutions & tools adhere to existing data management practices, policies and procedures
  • Contributes to organizational standard definitions & assists in maintaining a consistent use of data resources across the business
  • Ensure data governance measures related to people, processes, and data are being followed and align to our policies
  • Supports efforts to drive continuous improvements by ensuring resolution of data quality issues in a cost-effective and timely manner
  • Maintains documentation around policies, procedures and user training
  • Participates in audits to ensure data/procedures adhere to compliance and regulation


This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Experience with build and maintenance of data attributes
  • Ability to managing large data volumes and executing automated processes to load data
  • Experience with SAP


Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Understanding of Data Governance principles
  • Possess problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills & stakeholder management
  • Ability to prioritize number of tasks at a time
  • Experience with Winshuttle
  • Experience with SQL
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
  • 4+ years' experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.


Typical Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).


Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
