KAMTEK is a premier Tier 1, automotive manufacturing supplier that specializes in Class "A" Stamping, Assembly and High Pressure Die Casting that produces Body-side and Door Openings, Roofs, Floor Pans, Wheelhouses, Large Welded Assemblies, Doors, Fenders, Hoods, Lift-gates, Aluminum Shock Towers, and Aluminum Rear Rails. Role Summary
This position will report directly to the General Manager (or designee) as part of the Management Work Package team preparing, analyzing and challenging the data presented to the Steering team on a weekly basis. The data analysis will help drive each work package towards successful attainment of KPI's and establishing a sustainable process and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies.
  • Follow, comply, and enforce all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (Magna and OSHA Standards). Responsible to ensure employees are properly trained and adhering to such policies, enforcing disciplinary actions when safety infractions occur, and conduct Team Safety Talks as required.
  • Guides Kamtek in determining the priorities for process and productivity improvements that impact production and business results and assist in waste elimination and reduction projects.
  • Assists the Materials Department with packaging, material storage/retrieval, and material routing optimization.
  • Prepares reports, charts and other documentation required for customer and internal reporting.
  • Analyzes manufacturing data and based on the observations, provides guidelines for standard operations.
  • Directs and distributes the work for his/her area of responsibility.
  • Conducts regular department meetings to communicate safety, quality, timing, cost and motivation information and to promote involvement in issues affecting employees or their work areas.
  • Ensures confidentiality in all matters pertaining to both business and employee relations.
  • Ensures fairness to direct reports and encourages and participates in the Open Door Resolution Process for employee relation issues
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Must have successfully completed 90 day introductory period.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Completed technical or business studies at a university level required
  • 2 or more years of professional experience in the automotive/manufacturing area.
  • Knowledge of general production environment and KPIs
  • Excellent PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office excel and powerpoint required. .
  • Ability to manage the execution of complex projects.
  • Be a key leader in the organization, participate in plant meetings (from high level strategy sessions down to daily walks).
  • Demonstrated ability to effect change in a manufacturing environment and ensure improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization.
  • High aptitude for problem solving and analytical thinking.
