As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to manipulate large data sets, integrate diverse data sources, data types and data structures into solutions under management guidance. You will build experience developing analytical approaches to meet business requirements, which involves translating requests into use cases, test cases, preparation of training data sets and iterative algorithm development.

What you'll do

• Execute code to generate business results, code efficiency improves solution delivery
• Analyze and prepare data for analysis, assembling data from standard and disparate data sources
• Analyze internal data assets
• for defined internal or external customer needs
• Using Big Data tools, responsible for gathering and organizing disparate data sets for the creation of insights using various statistical methodology
• Collaborate with Data, Analytics, and Technology leads to ensure the seamless consumption of insights generated from Equifax's new big data analytical platform.
• Run standard processes to ensure metrics and reports are delivered consistently to stakeholders
• Perform analysis and integrate Equifax, customer data and third-party data to solve analytical solutions.
• Using established guidelines, deliver analytical solutions using data visualization tools.

What Experience You Need

• Bachelor's Degree and/or similar experience
• 1-5 years of experience using Python, R, or SAS
• 1-5 years of hands on data and analytics experience
• 1-5 years of experience communicating with customers from an analytical perspective

• Strong quantitative analytical experience, including hands-on and background in using statistics, regression modeling, neural networks, decision trees, random forest, support vector machine, kernel based methods, clustering and similar methods
