Job Description We are seeking a Data Scientist Senior Associate to take on a significant role on the team to help drive these efforts. This role will be responsible for (1) cross-LOB deepening analytics including key business metrics supporting strategic decisions, (2) helping to model and understand CCB level Cross-LOB customer level profitability and lifetime value, (3) developing historical & forward-looking P&Ls across retail and business relationships, (4) partnering with segmentation, finance and LOB analytics teams to generate insights. The book of work we create will have a multitude of applications including but not limited to Customer deepening, improving retention, competitive pricing and customer acquisition with right product and services and improving customer experience. Responsibilities:

• Analytics: Manage all phases of the analytics lifecycle, including documenting data lineage, analysis scoping, data development, hypothesis development, data analysis, generating insights, developing and delivering presentations of findings
• Thought leadership: Define and drive our approach to customer value, prioritizing the most impactful opportunities
• Project Management: Manage and prioritize a constantly changing and evolving set of projects. Be able to organize and report on progress on a regular basis
• Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing sharp insights and conclusions for executives

Qualifications

• 3+ years' hands-on experience in data and analytics with a proven record of high performance
• Exceptional problem solving and analysis skills, combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate findings inside the D&A team and other stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to turn complex data into concise client-friendly findings and recommendations
• Ability to work independently or collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and agile environments
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage projects. Can stay organized and deliver at a high level while juggling a large book of work
• Experience in a consumer-focused industry; consumer financial services experience related to Credit Cards, Personal Lending, Home Lending or Deposits/Investments strongly preferred.
• Experience with SQL/Python/Excel required. Experience with Tableau, ML, Clustering, Modeling is a plus - alternatively, willingness to learn and occasionally get hands dirty is necessary
