Data Scientist, Mid
The Challenge:

We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical skills to improve law enforcement. You'll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help law enforcement identify cyber threats and make informed decisions. You'll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it. Join us as we use data science for good in law enforcement.

You Have:

• Experience in the data science or analytics field
• Knowledge of machine learning, data mining, statistics, or algorithms
• Knowledge of analysis of data or creation of data-driven visualizations
• Ability to create reports and present findings based on statistical analysis
• Ability to develop persistent monitoring applications for statistical or machine learning processes using SQL, R, Python, SAS, or SPSS
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Hadoop
