Data Science Analyst
The Challenge:

Are you excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set? In an increasingly connected world, massive amounts of structured and unstructured data open up new opportunities. As a data scientist, you can turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges.

We have an opportunity for you to use your leadership and skills to assist a Department of Defense (DoD) client with Special Access Program (SAP) data analytics. You'll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll mentor teammates, build data models, conduct what-if/sensitivity analysis, use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help the DoD client make informed decisions about the SAP enterprise. You'll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, how they can use it, and how they can visualize it. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to use data science solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. Join us as we use data science for good in the DoD.

Empower change with us.

You Have:

  • Experience with scripting or scientific languages and software, including Python, MATLAB, Simio, @Risk, and Tableau
  • Experience with advanced operations research, data science, data cleaning, data discovery, advanced statistical analysis, or visualizations
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Ability to consult with non-technical audiences on technical problems, work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment, and balance long- and short-term tasking
  • Ability to take poorly defined problems and convert them into questions for which practical quantitative solutions can be defined
  • Ability to be flexible, take initiative, and innovate to succeed in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, composing client deliverable quality documentation, analysis, and reports
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and organized
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
