Job Description

Homescan Panel Operations is committed to develop stable, sustainable, and comprehensive measurement and insight solutions. The Operations Lead will play a vital role in coordinating panel related initiatives and be responsible for translating our clients’ business requirements into operational and executable solutions, while ensuring quality and timely deliverables. This role also includes a combination of technical implementation, operational quality and stability, with collaboration and communication across Client Focus, Product Leadership, Technology and Data Science teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and manage a team of Panel Operations analysts, includes overseeing daily workload

  • Drive transition and ongoing delivery of Omnichannel content into BAU Operations.

  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to understand their needs/requirements and educate on product capabilities.

  • Oversee that the Panel Operations team updates and maintains documentation and training materials on NielsenIQ’s panel and Omnishopper data as it pertains to Operations.

  • Monitor and Update the Panel Operation’s initiative/validation trackers utilized by multiple teams.

  • Answer complex questions on panel data from both manufacturing and retail associates, while being a liaison between these teams and Panel Operations production analysts.

  • Assist in approval of system downtimes, releases, emergency release, and server changes

  • Partner with investigations, Sev1s, and prioritization of technology support tickets

Education

Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in a quantitative field required, including Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, and Operations Research

Qualifications

  • Experience working across Client teams, Operations, Data Science, Technology and Product Leadership 

  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both verbal and in written communication

  • Uses logic to analyze data and capability to draw conclusions and convey or provide advice or consultation to business leaders

  • Ability to learn and understand operational coding and reporting analysis methodology.

  • Knowledge of Nielsen products, industry, and technology (preferred)

  • Experience in developing SQL databases and writing applications to interface with SQL databases & Python and R development experience (beneficial but not required)

  • Experience working in e-commerce, online retail or digital content sales (beneficial but not required)
