Job Description:

The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for managing and monitoring Tinuiti’s data supply chain, data quality assurance and cooperation with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best customer experience. This role will work cross functionally with Tinuiti’s enterprise clients, internal teams, and partners to drive data solutions that power advanced analytics use cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation and quality assurance.
  • Ensure data requests are formally captured via standard data deliverables (source-to-target, control files, validation models) for ongoing data operations and maintenance
  • Work with teams to ensure client data sources with a focus on reliability, resiliency, and quality
  • Proactively manage and resolve open data related helpdesk tickets 
  • Define and oversee goals to improve data operations rigor and discipline which drive our application
  • Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and contractual requirements.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to automate and improve processes.
  • Participate in data and information model design across multiple operating units and research stakeholders

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience 
  • Proficient with SQL
  • Experience with Google BigQuery
  • Experience with JIRA 
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with Python, R, Alteryx, Qlikview
  • Experience with Confluence
  • Experience working with relational databases, ETL/ELT tools, data conversion and data cleansing methods
  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners 
  • Organized and time conscious
  • Capable of working independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and think critically to design improved processes
