Your Challenge

The Data Migration Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring customer data readiness to successfully upgrade customers to the latest SaaS solutions on the Cayuse Connected Platform.  This role will also work with a cross-functional team with domain expertise aligned to a pillar of Cayuse solutions and bring deep knowledge of data architecture across existing Cayuse applications and within the Cayuse Connected Platform.  The Data Migration Analyst will leverage expertise in database architecture and an ability to execute database changes to successfully complete customer projects, as well as advise Cayuse teams on best practices.

The right candidate has a customer-centric approach, continuous improvement mindset, domain expertise in customer processes and/or Cayuse solutions, and an ability to apply both analytical and innovative thinking to resolve challenges.  The Data Migration Analyst will work extensively with both cross-functional internal teams as well as in a customer-facing capacity.  This strategic role will work as part of a Modernization team representing unique work streams based on domain expertise and Cayuse solution pillars.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading all customer-facing data validation activities to ensure customer readiness related to the customer’s modernization path
  • Data analysis and assessment to determine specific updates needed to ensure successful migration and maximum usability for the customer
  • Performing direct database updates to get data in a migration-ready state, using both novel and reusable SQL scripts
  • Providing guidance and coaching to customers on data decisions related to modernization
  • Working collaboratively with Customer Delivery teams to execute modernization dependencies as part of new application implementations
  • Developing and sharing best practices in a collaborative environment with other domain expertise Data Consultants
  • Providing input to overall modernization priorities and plans based on individual customer and cohort knowledge
  • Proactively seeking and quickly taking action on customer feedback and customer sentiment to improve the modernization processes.
  • Fulfill technical support requests as prioritized by the technical support team

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, implementation consulting or similar function.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent certifications and experience.
  • A demonstrated track record of leveraging communication, interaction and collaboration with customers as well as internal teams to implement customer-centric solutions
  • Comfortable managing multiple channels of customer communications, including virtual meetings via phone or zoom, and email
  • Ability to plan, manage and monitor multiple customer projects simultaneously, as well as understand dependencies with other team members’ deliverables
  • Competency using and writing SQL (MSSQL and POSTGRES)
  • Solid understanding of single and multi-tenant database concepts
