Data Manager - Enterprise Infrastructure Management

As a Data Manager within PNC's Enterprise Data Management Technology organization, you will be based remote.
This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. In person activities may occur periodically based on business need.
Job Description
- Manages all aspects of organizational data; establishes and maintains policies and procedures for planning, designing and maintaining an information bank to ensure that data services are delivered in a high-quality and profitable manner.
- Provides senior leadership, direction and methodology for analysis, structure and storage of critical organizational data.
- Oversees the integrity and maintenance of organizational data.
- Monitors and reviews major organizational activities and goals to ensure important data needs are anticipated, and met.
- Reviews and recommends policies and procedures for collecting and managing organization data.

IT Standards, Procedures & Policies - Knowledge of and the ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.
Modeling: Data, Process, Events, Objects - Knowledge of and the ability to use tools and techniques for analyzing and documenting logical relationships among data, processes or events.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Knowledge of and ability to use a structured approach to identify the cause of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent a recurrence.
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
