Job Description DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for gathering and crafting a detailed interpretation of the Data Management business and functional requirements, that will then be used to coordinate and oversee the maintenance and growth of the existing Data Management tool set and processes. Organize the backlog of business requirements and prioritize them based on business needs. Partner closely with Information Architects and Software Engineers to deliver designs and approach as per the business agenda. Monitor and evaluate progress of the Data Management tool set starting from design to production implementation. Perform quality assurance testing to support the Engineering team. Create test scripts and support business users in the execution of User Acceptance Testing. Participate in Scrum meetings and Product sprints. Contribute towards deployment plan, resolve business user issues, and support Software Engineers in deployment activities for a smooth production implementation and post production support. Prepare product implementation communication, user training manuals and assist with training for any Data Management tool developed. Telecommuting permitted up to 60% of the week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Data Management, Team Lead, IT Consultant, Software Tech Lead, Software Tech Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Team Lead, IT Consultant, Software Tech Lead, Software Tech Consultant or a related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Team Lead, IT Consultant, Software Tech Lead, Software Tech Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Experience must include the following: Agile SDLC methodology; Jira or Confluence; Microsoft software applications including Word, Excel, and Visio; analyzing Databases using Structured Query Language; Data profiling; Data mining; Data management projects; and Application Programming Interface.
