Our Data Ethics operations program is designed to enable LiveRamp to meet its privacy-related legal requirements and reasonable expectations of clients while minimizing and mitigating risk to LiveRamp. Our mission is to help the business find safe and legal ways to use data for the betterment of our products, service and consumers.

We are looking for a highly-motivated, business-minded Data Ethics Operations Specialist. This position provides data research for the Data Ethics department by utilizing standard data investigation methodologies and data presentation software to help promote the efforts of the department. This position is accountable for creating team functional process documentation, creating presentation materials and facilitating or managing cross functional teams through projects and/or issues to help improve business processes and efficiency. 

The specialist will be involved in developing queries, generating reports, performing investigative research, and building visuals to convey their findings on periodic team activities. The specialist will also be involved in building out dashboards by taking source data, digesting it, and structuring it in a meaningful and efficient manner while utilizing stored procedures, views, functions, indexes, etc. The specialist needs to be comfortable merging data and investigating datasets to identify how they may be related. The specialist also elicits, documents and reviews requirements around business challenges and then produces solutions. 

This position will also assist our executive and senior management in developing and designing presentations that advance key business targets and tell the story through clean, concise, and well-organized slides. The specialist will prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and external speaking engagements and must be able to interpret complex concepts and translate them into graphs, charts, and visual graphics.

The specialist needs to be comfortable receiving loose requirements and working with internal team members to identify project goals, manage stakeholder participation to further define requirements, create and validate the data, present the data to the end-users, and make refinements as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.

You will:

  • Plan and perform data research and create weekly, monthly & quarterly team management and BOD reporting. Specific job functions will include; identification of data investigation opportunities, design and execution of audit metrics, data extraction and review utilizing data interrogation software, report development and project management.
  • Perform review of internal stakeholder needs related to Data Ethics operations. 
  • Serve as a liaison and expert resource for internal stakeholders related to data research projects that may include development of data or trending reports, project management, presentations and education.
  • Maintain optimal operation of departmental application in partnership with Sales Operations /Business Technology or external software vendors, as appropriate. This may include managing the implementation, maintenance, testing and/or functional design of changes.
  • Create presentations and/or reports for management involving significant research of multiple or complex data sources.
  • Develop relationships among internal stakeholders who might have similar information needs and manage those relationships to assure effective solutions.

  • Experience completing critical data investigations, review and editing of written documents, presentation development
  • Ability to work in a team to develop strong working relationships with the business and key stakeholders to facilitate data compliance while enabling commercial opportunities and support them in improving data protection and governance practices 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to dive into the business, data workflows, and technology 
  • Comfort with ambiguity, multi-tasking, and self-direction 
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, drafting and negotiation skills 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, manage deadlines, and handle complex escalations in a fast-paced and demanding work environment 
  • Comfortable expressing a point of view and influencing change, as appropriate
  • Experienced working in a dynamic environment, partnering with teams to move through the unknown
  • Experience in Salesforce and Google Suite applications or comparable CRM or productivity software
  • University degree
  • 3+ years in similar role required
