- Understand the mapping documents/requirements clearly and with Business Analysts/Data Analysts for clarifications
- Strong understanding of the design of the applications.
- Decode SQL queries and build applications in Spark/Scala according the standards effectively.
- Make suggestions for enhancements to application procedures.
- Optimize the code for better performance.
Who are the primary teams this person will work with?
- Developing open source solutions for processes like ingestion, curation and transformation based on mapping requirements.
- Develop re-usable components such as Data Load Validation, Stitching, etc. are built in open source technologies
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $78,000 to $121,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Seeking a minimum of 4 years experience with:
- Spark, Scala, Hive, IDE experience ( Eclipse, Intelij) , Python, Spark-sql , sqoop, Hadoop ecosystem- Git Lab, CI/CD pipeline, ETL Knowledge.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- ETL Tool experience, Database knowledge, Lineage, Data Governance
- SPARK Certification.
