Job Summary

The Xfinity Wi-Fi Engineering team is a highly collaborative and dedicated group tasked with operating the world's largest public Wi-Fi network. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help us achieve the best customer experience.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

  • Work with Data Scientists for Wi-Fi CX optimization using Machine learning including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and reinforcement learning
  • Perform prediction analysis & pattern detection; create business insights from data; and build fast & reliable data pipelines
  • Design new software and web applications; support applications under development; and customize current applications

Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

  • 5-7 years experience
  • Database technologies, Elastic search, framework development
  • Custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Data analysis and visualization
  • SQL performance tuning and e2e process optimization
  • Data Modeling and working on Big Data

Key tools & technologies include:

  • Oracle
  • Python
  • Big Query
  • Tableau

This role is hybrid, based in our downtown Philadelphia Comcast Technology Center. Our Data Engineer should plan for in-office collaboration 2-3 days per week.
