As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise-level, software-based technical solutions for Optum Care. Candidate is responsible for automating reports, creating executive-level dashboards and presenting information to help executives and healthcare practitioners to understand the impact of the data and use the data to make well -informed decisions. Candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skill and proficient knowledge in SQL and Oracle skills to create ad-hoc queries and production processes. Candidate must also have experience with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau. The individual must have strong communication skills, be a team player but can also work independently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and interpret reports for operational and clinically focused leaders
• Develop data models and backend processes to support reporting needs
• Collaborate with Data Integration and Data Management teams to source and develop data / ETL
• Support and perform ongoing updates for production reports and processes
• Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
• Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of data reporting/analysis experience
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau
• Proficient SQL skills, with the ability to create ad-hoc queries and production processes
• Comfortable with the development of reports from multiple data sets and organization of data for presentation to management
• Solid analytical, research and problem solving skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
